Since its launch in 2009, has been a go-to online destination for shoppers on the hunt for stylish new and vintage home furnishings and accessories. Now, fans of One Kings Lane can feel even more confident about their purchases, as the e-commerce retailer has officially opened their New York City store at 143 Spring Street in Soho. The store is located in an 1818 Federal-style building, boasting a New York apartment feel that makes the shopping experience even more personal.
This move follows the successful opening of its first shop in Southampton, NY, last year. According to One Kings Lane President Debbie Propst, the new 3,500-square-foot flagship store, which is located in a 200-year-old house, is a natural transition for the business. “Our first shop, which opened in Southampton last summer, set the tone for this next opening and future stores to come. It was extremely important to us to find the right space—one that has deep roots in the local community and could provide the perfect backdrop for the storytelling we do around our product. As a brand that’s all about the mix, finding a space that includes some of the oldest and newest construction in Soho is a perfect fit for us.”
Shoppers can now experience three special components at the new flagship: an evolving product assortment that's suitable for the neighborhood's aesthetic; a variety of design styles and price points ranging from the exclusive One Kings Lane Collection to unique vintage and antique pieces; and professional design services.
