The main residence was built in 1939 by architect Richard Finkelhor, and in the 1950s, it was expanded into a 15,000-square-foot home by prominent Hollywood architect John Elgin Woolf, who built homes for stars like Cary Grant, Errol Flynn, and Katharine Hepburn.
Burkle, who already owns Bob and Dolores Hope's Palm Springs estate, plans to restore the main residence. Proceeds from the sale will be directed to the . , Executive Director/Estates Division at Pacific Union International, held the listing.
