Plenty of people spend time at Christmas tree farms in early December, picking out the perfect pine for their home. But this past weekend loved ones of a special couple flocked to in Hope, Rhode Island for a very different reason: To watch the couple exchange vows. And after seeing the breathtaking photos from the ceremony, we have a feeling there's going to be a boom in Christmas tree farm weddings next year.
But what made the newlyweds pick such a unique venue? It all started when Sarah Vickers, the blogger behind , and her now-husband, , planted a tree together at the farm, around the time when they first met. Since then, the couple has made it a to visit the farm to pick out their Christmas tree over the years (and even shared pictures from a visit five years ago before their wedding day):

And this weekend they said "I do" in front of hundreds of twinkling trees at one of their favorite places. The groom made his way to the ceremony through the evergreens:
He also stopped to take a selfie with his bride during the ceremony to capture what he described as the happiest moment of his life:
They adorably recreated a picture from one of their past visits to the farm — this time in their once-in-a-lifetime wedding attire:
And then they drove off together in their Jeep Wagoneer to celebrate with family and friends over apple pie, cake, gingerbread cookies, Christmas music, and eggnog.
The entire celebration sounds fun, festive, and fabulous — and makes us wonder just how jealous we're going to be of all of their honeymoon snaps. Sigh.
