Shopping in Paris. Don't you feel glee just looking at that phrase?
Yet while "shopping in Paris" may conjure thoughts of strolling through promenades, carrying bags of goodies from Chanel, Dior or Hermés, there's quite a variety of shops — and shopowners — that characterize the city's irresistible spirit.
To capture that personality, German photographer teamed up with digital printing company to create a photo series of Paris storefronts (the company has done in the past). The project's goal was to not only showcase unique shops, but also the unique people who operate them, according to .
Titled "Paris Re-Tale," the series features stores ranging from a puppet shop to a barber shop, and just about everything in between.
