If you're like us, your IKEA is one of your most prized possessions. Not only does it help you schlep home new Swedish essentials (tea lights and all), but it also makes chores easier. It can help you carry up to 55 pounds of stuff around the house, making it America's favorite laundry tote.
But that doesn't mean you want to keep this fluorescent blue bag out in plain sight. The colors are nothing if not harsh, which is why we're thrilled that IKEA is finally giving its signature bag a refresh. Ready to see what you'll be using on laundry day from now on? Drumroll, please...
These simple designs are part of a partnership between IKEA and the French store . If you don't live in Paris, the Colette FRAKTA (along with other items Colette Creative Director Sarah Andelman reimagined for IKEA) will hit U.S. stores in 2018. If you can't wait that long, you'll be able to pick up one of these white and forest green designs as part of IKEA's partnership with Danish brand later this year.
Both are much more muted and subtle versions of the famous bag. But why make yourself choose? You'll find us picking up both once they hit shelves.
