If you've been following the 's Christian LeMieux lately, then you'll likely have been ogling her travel snapshots of adorable monkeys, busy street markets, and stunning airplane views, all hashtagged with #worldtour. So it's fitting that their newest fabric collection – a collaboration with Robert Allen – has influences from around the globe.
Named Decorative Modern, the collection's focus is on unexpected combinations. "It's the juxtaposition of opposing ideas that makes it original," LeMieux says. The designs include Folkland, an enchanted scene of flora and fauna, Vreeland, which pays homage to the fashion icon in 1970s glory, and Kimono, which features a chair-scale pattern with an Asian-inspiration. And though the designs span decades and destinations, the prints and wovens are intended for easy layering. So now you can easily bring home that global, well-traveled look – just without the jet lag.
